Indications

Danazol is indicated for endometriosis, fibrocystic breast disease, and hereditary angioedema.

Dosage and administration

Endometriosis: 200–400 mg (mild) or 800 mg (moderate–severe) daily in divided doses; adjust and continue 3–9 months. Fibrocystic breast disease: 100–400 mg daily. Hereditary angioedema: start 200 mg 2–3 times daily, then adjust per response.
