Indications
Amlodipine besylate tablets are indicated for treating hypertension. They can be used as monotherapy or combined with other antihypertensive agents to manage high blood pressure effectively.
Dosage and administration
Adults start with 5 mg once daily, maximum 10 mg. Pediatrics (6–17 years) start with 5 mg daily. Hepatic patients require cautious, lower-end starting doses and slow titration.
