Indications

Lapatinib treats HER2-overexpressing advanced or metastatic breast cancer. It is used in combination with capecitabine, trastuzumab, or letrozole for patients who progressed on prior therapies.

Dosage and administration

Daily doses range from 1000mg to 1500mg depending on the combination therapy. Tablets should be taken once daily at least one hour before or after food.
