Indications
Bleomycin is indicated for palliation and treatment of squamous cell carcinomas (skin, head/neck, esophagus, larynx, penis, cervix, bronchus), choriocarcinoma, testicular embryonal cell carcinoma, Hodgkin's disease, lymphomas, and mycosis fungoides.
Dosage and administration
Administer 10-20 units/m² weekly or twice weekly via IM, IV, SC, or intra-arterial routes. Limit total dose to 300 units; lymphoma patients require initial 1-5 unit test doses.
