Indications

Imatinib treats Philadelphia chromosome-positive CML and ALL, MDS/MPD with PDGFR rearrangements, advanced HES/CEL, Kit-positive GIST, and unresectable or metastatic dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans (DFSP) in adult and pediatric patients.

Dosage and administration

Administer 100mg to 800mg daily with food and water. Pediatric doses are 340mg/m². Patients unable to swallow tablets may disperse them in water or apple juice.
