• Follow all directions and otosol uses: Docusate sodium uses in the Philippines & the otosol drops package unless otherwise directed by your doctor. If you have any questions, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
• Take otosol docusate sodium medication by mouth, regularly at bedtime, with a full glass of water or juice, or as instructed by your doctor. The dosage is based on your medical condition and response to treatment. Decrease your dose or stop taking otosol otic drops if you produce diarrhea.
• If you are using Otosol Ear drops, measure the dose precisely using a special measuring device/spoon. Do not use a household spoon because you may not receive the correct dose. If you are using the docusate sodium ear drops, measure the medicine with the dropper presented, or use a dose-measuring spoon or device to ensure you have the correct dose. 
• Mix the syrup, liquid, or drops in 4 to 8 ounces of fruit juice, milk, or infant formula to limit throat irritation and mask a bitter taste.
• Use this otosol docusate sodium medication only when required. Do not use this merchandise for more than one week unless directed by your doctor.

• Stomach pain, diarrhea, or cramping may occur. The irritated throat may also occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your doctor or pharmacist promptly.
• If your doctor has instructed you to use this medication, remember that he or she has found that your benefit is greater than the risk of side effects. Many people using this medicine do not have dangerous side effects.
• Consult your doctor right away if this unlikely but severe side effect occurs: rectal bleeding.
• A critical allergic reaction to this drug is unlikely but seek required medical attention if it happens. Symptoms of a severe allergic reaction may include rash, itching/swelling, critical dizziness, difficulty breathing.
• This is not a perfect list of possible side effects. If you notice other outcomes not listed above, communicate with your doctor or pharmacist.

If you miss an otosol dosage, use it as soon as you memorize it. If it is near the next otosol dosage, skip the missed drop dosage. Use your next drop dosage at the regular time. Do not double the dose to catch up.

How many times a day can you take Docusate sodium?

Dosage. Capsules – the usual dose is one capsule, taken three times a day. Do not take more than five pills in a day.

Can I take 2 otosol otic at once?

Since otosol drops are used when needed, you may not be on a dosing schedule. Skip any missed otosol drops dose if it's almost time for your next dose.
