There is a halt of entry into the Philippines for non-nationals and their relatives or those with applicable visas. Filipino nationals and citizens returning from abroad may be governed to isolate for a maximum of 14 days upon arrival or expected to experience COVID-19 testing. Foreign nationals with long-term visas are permitted to enter the Philippines, directed to specific conditions. Categories of eligible in the Philippines travel restrictions
On May 1, 2021, the following guidelines shall direct the entry of travelers to the Philippines, directed to the maximum capacity of inbound passengers at the port and date of entry:
- Foreign citizens with correct and validated visas at the time of entry;
- The visa must be shown at the time of entry – no new entry visas will be allowed.
Visas must come under one of the following categories:
- A non-immigrant visa issued under Section 13 of the Immigration Act (Section 13 series visa: a,b,c,d,e,g)
- Anyone who acquired resident status under Republic Act 7919 or Alien Social Integration Act (RA 7919 visa)
- Anyone who falls under Executive Order 324 or Alien Legalization Program (EO 324 visa)
- Native-born foreign nationals (Native-born visa).
These travelers are allowed to enter, so long as a valid visa is secured through the Embassy of the Philippines located in your country of residence or local travel requirements in the Philippines Covid:
- A foreign spouse of a Filipino national
- A minor child of a Filipino
- Children of a Filipino with special needs, regardless of age
- Foreign parent of minor Filipinos, and foreign parent of Filipino children with special needs, regardless of age.
The following shall NOT be allowed entry :
- All passengers coming from India;
- All passengers are coming from or who have been to Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, or Sri Lanka within the 14 days preceding their arrival in the Philippines.
Notes:

2. You must apply and secure a Philippine entry or long-term visa from your country’s Philippine Consulate or at your nearest Philippine Foreign Service Post.
3. Conditions of the IATF-EID:
- Must have a valid and existing visa at the time of entry unless otherwise stated in the table above
- With pre-booked accredited quarantine facility/hotel for at least ten days at the traveler’s expense;
- Must undergo RT-PCR testing on the 7th day of quarantine. Detoxicare Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory will swab Non-OFWs and non-Filipinos on PAL flights arriving in Manila.
- Subject to the maximum capacity of inbound passengers as set by the National Task Force for COVID-19.
4. Only marriages under the provisions of the Philippine Family Code shall be honored.
5. For adopted children, please prepare additional documentary proof (e.g., adoption papers).
